Latest Version of MatterSphere provides closer integration with 3E and enhanced usability for clients

Thomson Reuters Elite, part of Thomson Reuters Legal, today announced the release of MatterSphere® 7.2, the latest version of the client and matter management component of the comprehensive line of Elite offerings. MatterSphere 7.2 gives clients greater and closer integration with 3E®, the leading next-generation end-to-end financial management solution. Client & Matter Management is an integral segment of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, a comprehensive suite designed to help clients manage every aspect of their businesses. MatterSphere ensures consistent, repeatable matter workflow processes that keep teams working productively and profitably toward the same goal.

Enhancements have been made to the user interface, creating flexibility with how screens are displayed. With the ability to pin, hide, and move the Navigation and Information panels, users will benefit from better views of the screen, allowing for tasks to be completed more timely and efficiently.  A closer integration between 3E and MatterSphere also will allow clients to create invoices and reports and save them using Design Gallery™ to the MatterSphere Document Management System against corresponding files or matters, making the flow faster and easier.

In addition to the user interface improvements, the latest version of MatterSphere includes enhancements for developers such as updates to the Admin Kit that improve how menus are displayed. Included is the ability to pin the Explorer panel in place and work in several areas at the same time. More flexibility is also created by search functionality that helps administrators find what they need quickly. New development tools in the Admin Kit, including check-out and check-in, locking of related components, versioning, comparison, and restoring previous versions help developers avoid conflicts during development and to control versions of Enquiry Forms, Scripts, Search Lists, and Data Lists. Updates have also been made to the Create Packages with a drag-and-drop facility that increases flexibility.

Other enhancements include improvements to template functionality. Significant time saving benefits will be delivered to template editors who will now be able to make and keep a history of changes to templates, reverting to a previous version if required. Furthermore, users are now able to embed a signature into a Microsoft® Word document, ensuring they are included if the document is converted to PDF.
