Thomson Reuters Elite, part of the Legal Professionals division of Thomson Reuters, recently hosted its 25th VANTAGE Worldwide Conference in San Diego. Held at the Marriott Marquis, more than 1,200 attendees—including 27 partner companies—participated in this year’s flagship event, underscoring the extent to which adoption of Elite solutions continues to accelerate globally.
The VANTAGE 2019 San Diego conference is one of several major Elite events worldwide that offers clients a unique opportunity to gather new insights, share best practices, and network among peers. This year’s program featured nearly 200 educational sessions and tutorials on topics covering a wide range of solutions and services from both Elite and Thomson Reuters, including 3E®, ProLaw®, 3E MatterSphere®, Enterprise®, Thomson Reuters PanoramicTM and eBillingHub®.
Aside from the educational and networking components of the event, this year’s VANTAGE also featured a powerful keynote address by Bonnie St. John, an Olympic medalist, Rhodes Scholar, and leadership consultant for the Fortune 500, and of whom NBC Nightly News has called “one of the five most inspiring women in America.” She shared with VANTAGE delegates her insights, experiences, and best practices for going from burnout to breakthrough performance that transfer to bottom-line business results in organizations.
Attendees also raised significant funds to support the work of the Medicines Sans Frontiers/Doctors Without Borders, an independent international humanitarian organization that delivers impartial medical aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, natural disasters, and exclusion from health care in more than 72 countries. Over the course of the event, a total of nearly/more than $44,000 was generously donated by attendees, including a dollar-for-dollar match by Thomson Reuters.
During the course of VANTAGE, Elite also announced a series of major deals and product innovations. These included the selection of 3E by both Crowell & Moring and Mendes & Mount, the selection of eBillingHub by Scott Douglass & McConnico, and the release of ProLaw 2019.1 and 3E Data Insights persona-based dashboards.
“VANTAGE continues to be the go-to conference for those who want to optimize their use of Elite solutions, network with their peers, and hear about new offerings that can make their businesses perform better,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice-president, Financial & Practice Management Solutions. “The solutions that we offer continue to provide clients with the tools they need to thrive, and we’re pleased that they continue to attend VANTAGE to learn more about them.”
