Internet Explorer 11 Being RetiredOn May 19, 2021, Microsoft® announced that Internet Explorer 11 desktop application (IE11) will be retired on June 15, 2022 for certain servicing channels of Windows 10. This means that, after the retirement date, the IE11 desktop application will no longer be supported and will redirect to Microsoft Edge when a user tries to access IE11 using Windows 10 on an affected servicing channel. This will impact users of WebView, which gives firms an intuitive, integrated environment to access critical business data from any location with an Internet connection.
For information on what a servicing channel is and how to determine which channel you are using, please reference Elite Knowledge Base article WebView FAQ: MS Internet Explorer 11 End of Support (#TR-18347).
In addition, the Enterprise 3.11 Product Systems Requirements (#TR-4982), Enterprise Platform Compatibility Updates (#TR-10348), and How to Configure Edge with IE Mode for Use with WebView (#TR-18346) documents are also available in the Elite Knowledge Base.
