UK/EMEA User Group Meeting with Record Attendance
Firms Benefit from Case Studies and Practical Guidance for 3E and Enterprise
LONDON, Sept. 21, 2010 – Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, held its complimentary UK/EMEA User Group meeting at the historic Holborn Bars in the heart of London on Sept. 16. The event had nearly double last year’s attendance with 230 attendees from 66 law firms gathering to learn the latest methods of optimizing their Elite financial and practice management systems. Nine different countries were represented with 17 educational sessions packed in one 12-hour period. There was a shared focus between Elite’s 3E and Enterprise platforms, both of which will be receiving significant new version updates in the coming months.
One significant highlight of the day was a presentation from Hildebrandt Baker Robbins which offered a detailed overview of the UK Legal Market – and insights on how to stay ahead in the rapidly changing environment. Another popular session was “Best Practices for Good Financial Data”, which contained tips and tricks by the experts for better maintenance of financial data, better balancing techniques, and more accurate financial reporting.
The Elite Enterprise 3.9 session introduced new features that will be available in the release, as well as a comparison of features and functionality between the Enterprise and 3E platforms. Microsoft conducted a joint-presentation with Elite on how BizTalk works within the 3E platform.
Zoe Martin from CMS Cameron McKenna, Elite’s User Group Chairperson, greeted the attendees prior to the afternoon break-out sessions that included topics on Elite 3E Security, General Ledger Reporting, as well as presentations from Chrome River Expense Management and IntApp. Clients also had the opportunity to discuss and vote on the top 10 enhancements they’d like to see in Enterprise 3.10.
“Our International User Group meetings grow more popular each year because we provide real-world solutions to issues our clients are experiencing. We also value the direct feedback and collaboration received from clients during these meetings for use in enhancing and developing our solutions” said Kim Massana, president of Elite.
