Supported Configuration

Announcement for Elite Users of Informix
IBM will be discontinuing Informix support on 4/30/09 for users of Informix 9.40 and on 9/30/09 for users of Informix 7.31. As such, Elite will no longer be able to provide support for Informix customer beyond a defined transition period. It is important to note that this extension is for non-catastrophic support only. Any significant or critical Informix issues will require a full restore, so it is important for firms to have a tested backup of their systems.

Elite clients that are currently running on Informix will need to migrate over to SQL Server in conjunction with an upgrade to Enterprise 3.8. Elite clients that schedule a migration to SQL by 4/30/09 will receive Informix bridge support that will be in effect until they migrate to SQL or, at the latest, until 9/30/2010.
