Elite Appoints Eric Sugden as Chief Technology Officer

LOS ANGELES, Sep. 6, 2011 –  Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, announced today that Eric Sugden has joined Elite as Chief Technology Officer.

Sugden will be responsible for managing development and integration of the company’s software assets to enhance Elite’s technology leadership. He brings over 20 years of experience developing enterprise-class, high-transaction software.

Recently, Sugden was Managing Director of Technology at Investment Technology Group (ITG), a leader in electronic trading technology where he led teams in building execution management systems, algorithmic trading services, and high transaction trading solutions.

Sugden earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UCLA and his master’s degree in Applied Math from USC.
