Windows Client and Browser-Based Platforms for Elite Solutions
- Provides maximum flexibility and customization
- Matches operational environment to individual users’ preferences and work styles
- Reduces training, implementation and upgrade efforts
Elite’s flexible application interfaces maximize the benefits of the overall software investment
by creating on-screen work environments that reflect the unique needs of individual firms and staff members. Elite offers two different methods of accessing the Elite System that can be tailored to meet any firm’s requirements:
- Enterprise, Elite’s Microsoft® Windows®-based client platform, is the standard clientserver
interface provided with Elite’s solutions.
- WebView is Elite’s zero-footprint, browser-based client platform. Available as a system
add-on, Elite WebView enables users to access Elite’s solutions through an Internet browser.
Customers can deploy users across the firm on any desired combination of Elite’s
Enterprise or WebView client platforms.
Two Client Platforms, One Goal: Optimizing Productivity
Elite’s Enterprise and WebView client platforms ensure that professional services teams
can select the user interface that best suits their job functions and work styles, and customize
their use of each environment to better meet their needs. Elite WebView is
designed to provide a streamlined, integrated interface for professional users who desire
the convenience, functionality and ease-of-use delivered by a web-based system. Elite
Enterprise delivers advanced accounting and billing capabilities required by many financial
operations staff members. The powerful combination of Elite Enterprise and Elite
WebView gives professionals, financial, operations and administrative staff the tools they
need to work most effectively and efficiently.
Enterprise and WebView include many features that streamline the use of Elite’s applications.
Both platform environments provide a single-screen launch pad to applications used
frequently throughout the day - even applications not developed by Elite.
Key features common to both platforms include:
- Scalable and robust architectural framework designed to support large numbers of
concurrent users.
- Support for a wide range of databases and platforms, including Microsoft SQL Server,
Oracle or Informix running on Microsoft Windows NT/2000 or UNIX.
- Single-screen views of top-level summary data, plus built-in hyperlinks (WebView) and
drill-down capabilities (Enterprise) that allow users to navigate from page to page or
screen to screen easily and efficiently.
- Ability for customers to define and incorporate their own specific business logic and link other programs or systems to Elite’s applications using industry-standard scripting languages.
- Sophisticated support that allows multi-national practices to operate efficiently and analyze operations on a local, regional or consolidated basis.
- Multi-language and terminology support, including help text and customizable error messages.
