Sophisticated and Flexible Calendaring
Elite Case Manager offers a flexible rules-based calendaring system that allows firms to define their own calendar convention for managing cases. Following the input of a single event date, Elite Case Manager generates all reminders and deadlines for a case. Calendar
entries can include links to related documents that can also be used to produce pleading and discovery indexes.
Calendar rules are calculated in days, court days, weeks, months or years, as required. In addition court-observed holidays are factored into the calendar by default. While court rules and timelines for any jurisdiction can be entered manually, those for North
American jurisdictions are available electronically through a third-party subscription service. Users can select whether to use automated rules or firm-defined rules at both
the case and event level for greater flexibility. Elite Case Manager can also recognize weekends as court days as is required in some European countries.
Elite Case Manager also includes a personal calendar inquiry screen that displays summary views for the week or month. Automated reminders display upcoming commitments and deadlines according to user preferences.
Sophisticated yet Simple Docket/Calendar Management
Elite Case Manager accommodates centralized calendar or docket departments, as well as distributed office environments. Docket clerks can quickly enter stacks of documents into the system.
