Calendar Manager Data Sheet
Elite Calendar Connect

Managing a heavy caseload will challenge even the most seasoned attorney and strain the administrative resources of a firm. As cases get more complex, the need for automated calendaring and docketing becomes critical.

Elite Calendar Manager delivers a powerful, efficient and reliable solution for a firm’s calendaring and docketing needs. Users can easily create, edit and view calendar events and activities from a convenient Web-based application. Rules-based calendaring, built-in reminders and automated court rules keep the entire firm on track and minimize the risk of missed deadlines.

Calendar Manager Highlights:

  • Powerful rules-based calendaring and optional automated court rules address calendaring and docketing requirements across a wide range of jurisdictions and venues.

  • Intuitive Web-based solution allows users to create, update and view calendar information and offers single-click access to other frequently used applications including word processing, email, legal research and more.

  • Automatic email reminders notify users of upcoming events and deadlines.

  • Summaries provide a comprehensive view of client, matter and case information, and calendar events.

  • Calendar data can be displayed by day, month or within a static date range in a calendar or list format. Users can filter by matter, case/docket, case type and event description.

Flexible Calendaring and Docketing

Calendar Manager features a rules-based calendaring engine that automatically calculates and schedules all the required calendar events, deadlines and reminders for every matter or case. Calendar rules are calculated in days, court days, weeks, months or years, as required. Court-observed holidays are factored into the calendar by default. Calendar Manager can also recognize weekends as court days as is required in some European countries. Users can select whether to use optional automated court rules or firm-defined rules at both the case and event level for greater flexibility.

Microsoft Outlook Integration

Calendar Manager can send reminders via email to notify users of upcoming events and deadlines. Using Elite Calendar Connect for Microsoft Outlook, firms can automatically publish due dates, events and reminders to personal calendars in Outlook, a convenient interface which enables synchronization with PDA and BlackBerry devices. Whenever changes or updates to events are made in Calendar Manager, Calendar Connect immediately updates corresponding events in Outlook.

Automated Court Rules

Calendar Manager offers optional automated court rules to manage deadlines and requirements of individual cases and matters. Through the use of automated court rules, the potential for missing important deadlines is virtually eliminated.

An advisory board of expert attorneys writes and reviews all optional automated court rules. Only direct sources are used to ensure accurate and complete rules.
