Canadian Client Round Table – NEW CLASS
Canadian clients can engage in an information exchange with peers. A ProLaw subject matter expert will be on hand to answer questions and facilitate information sharing. Suitable for Canadian clients.

Facilitating ProLaw's Administrative Process
Get the most out of your investment by learning how to maximize ProLaw's administrative functions. In this class we will review administrative best practices, utilizing resources to properly maintain your ProLaw database, as well as how to use checklists to manage the administrative process. Level: Basic

Intermediate Report Writing (including SQL)
This report writing class is designed to enhance your basic report writing skills and enable you to create more complex reports. We’ll walk you through the tips and tricks of advanced report writing and cover specialty bands, ProLaw calculations, and both back and front office features. This course will also help you make more effective report design decisions for more efficient reports. This class includes hands-on training. Level: Intermediate

Introduction to Report Writing
This report writing class is designed to give you the skills needed to plan and create reports that will help you analyze and interpret information. This course is designed for new users of ProLaw and includes a review of general report features, report design and the creation of presentation quality reports. Level: Basic

Preferences and Security Features Review
In this class we will review preferences and security for Version 11, including general best practice discussion on strategies for updating to new versions. Level: Basic

ProLaw Agent - It can do that!
This class takes an in-depth look at the ProLaw Agent: what it is, why you would use it, and what it can do to simplify reporting, automate tasks and keep your document indexes happy. Level: Intermediate

ProLaw Product Update and Roadmap
Get the latest information on new product enhancements and what’s planned for future development. Learn about the latest product features planned, and get an update on plans for the product roadmap. Suitable for all attendees.

Query Workshop
Work with a ProLaw expert on how to query for individual nuances that affect both the front and back office. Review the query structure, tools, and query building techniques using ProLaw’s most requested queries. Please bring your own query questions to discuss during the workshop. This class includes hands-on training. Level: Intermediate

Report Writing Workshop
Bring your custom report writing questions and comments to this session where you will work with ProLaw experts to enhance your front and back office report writing knowledge. This workshop is designed for individuals with any level of report writing experience. This class includes hands-on training.

Back Office Round Table
Managers and staff involved with back office operations can engage in an information exchange regarding back office topics. ProLaw subject matter experts will be available to answer questions and facilitate information sharing. Suitable for all attendees.

Best Practices for Accounts Payable
General overview of managing your accounts payable using ProLaw, including recurring journal entries, Void versus Spoiled, manual checks, Journal preferences settings review and general best practice discussion. Level: Intermediate

Electronic Billing – Format and Process Overview
In this class we will review the process of electronic billing including the diverse standards of electronic bill formats. We will discuss how many common formats, including Litigation Advisor, TyMetrix and ESIS, use the Ledes1998B Standard, as well as XML formats. We will also review the setup of Matters and Transactions within ProLaw to comply with the needs of the firm and meet the specifications of the billing client. Level: Basic

Maximize Your Back Office Return on Investment Using Front Office Functionality
In this class we will discuss best practices using replenishing retainer, Outside counsel invoice tracking, review how collections can help the firms accounts receivable, using docketing to track check requests, and using events to manage collection letters and provide e-mail reminders. Maximizing Your Organization's Financial Reporting
Take advantage of ProLaw’s financial and management reports to evaluate firm performance, including how to use ProLaw’s aging and analysis reports to track your firm's utilization and profitability. Level: Intermediate

ProLaw’s Powerful Collections Module 
Discover the power of ProLaw's Collections functionality. Learn how to track judgment and non-judgment payments, calculate interest and define firm-wide and matter-specific preferences for distribution of collected monies. Level: Intermediate

Recommended Best Practices for Accrual Month End Closing
Troubleshoot common financial irregularities and successfully balance accrual financials monthly with ProLaw financial reporting tools and queries. Attendees will learn how to run financials and other reconciliation and analysis reports to ensure monthly proper accrual account management. This presentation features a checklist of commonly encountered accrual financial issues and ProLaw advocated corrective strategies. Level: Intermediate

The 5 W’s of Month End - Cash Basis
WHO needs this class: Your accounting staff. Your staff will learn WHAT reports to run, WHEN to run the reports, WHERE to run reports, WHY it is important to close at month end, and how to balance successfully within ProLaw. Discover how to use the end of the month checklist and learn additional information about accounts payable reconciliation, balancing revenue, reconciling client costs and unapplied cash. Best Practice for Attorneys Using ProLaw
This class reviews best practices to empower your attorneys to efficiently manage information, track billable time, and locate information when they need it using Events off the Dashboard and Pro Filing functionality. Level: Intermediate

Best Practice for Docketing Using Internal Workflow
This class discusses how to work outside of the box. Learn how to create your own docket types to standardize everyday tasks. This class will demonstrate how ProLaw docketing can be used for non-legal tasks that must be completed in a timely and consistent manner. Level: Intermediate

Case Management Overview
Discover and review methods to implement and improve your use of ProLaw’s Case Management abilities. This class includes a discussion of how to coordinate all elements of ProLaw’s Front Office features to get the most out of them. Effective Document and Records Management
Ascertain, maximize, and streamline the document and records management process with ProLaw document and records management tools. Attendees will learn functions and storage strategies for case related information, including on- and off-site files, options for document workflow, using a pleading index with ProLaw’s full text searching and document Pro Filing features. Level: Intermediate

Full Text Indexing – NEW CLASS
Learn everything needed to get full text indexing working for you. We will discuss setup for those who are new to full text indexing, review how often to refresh and rebuild the index, how to improve and expand your full text searches, simple troubleshooting, and common problems associated with searches and indexing. We will also share best practices for your document store when using full text indexing. Level: Basic

How to Effectively Use Custom Tabs
Learn how to analyze existing database structure, deconstructing reports, forms, and document templates to design a custom tab that properly houses data, is easily searchable, and facilitates document production. Includes a discussion of custom tab redesign to better reflect your firm's growing sophistication. Level: Intermediate

This class is designed for the Technical staff of a firm or those who wish to delve deeper into the differences between the Exchange/Outlook integration options. This course specifically covers the Groupware Agent for Exchange 2007.
