ProLaw, Global Exchange Group, to Bring International Payment Process Solutions to Transnational Law Firms

LOS ANGELES, May 11, 2010 – Small and mid-size law firms can now expedite their international payment processing thanks to Global Exchange and ProLaw, part of Thomson Reuters. ProLaw and Global Exchange, a division of Fulton Bank, N.A., have announced that they will integrate services and technologies to offer law firms a more sophisticated method of payment processing.

Global Exchange is an international payment solutions company offering law firms the ability to execute their foreign payables while simultaneously integrating data into ProLaw software. Law firms realize efficiency gains in foreign payables processing within the federally regulated and secure environment provided by Global Exchange as well as the enhancement in the time and cost of processing foreign payables and cost recovery.

“Together we can extend to small and medium law firm clients the capability to manage and process international payments and costs that is essential in today’s global economy,” said Matthew DeVoll, general manager, ProLaw.

“We understand that every law firm has unique requirements for processing international payments and recovering costs,” said Anthony Loiacono, president of sales and marketing, Global Exchange Group. “Our process provides an efficient means for immediate international invoice payment, scheduling an international payment for release at a later date, extracting invoice and cost recovery data for integration into a law firm's financial system.”
