Latest Version of Business Development Premier Benefits Clients with Extended Functionality to Improve Ease of Use
Apr. 24, 2015
Thomson Reuters Elite, part of Thomson Reuters Legal, today announced the release of Business Development Premier 2015.1. The newest version of the end-to-end solution for the entire marketing lifecycle introduces the first of two planned instances of integration with Elite financial management systems, as well as more flexible mobile compatibility and expanded ContactNet functionality. As an integral part of the Elite enterprise business management solution, Business Development Premier uncovers buried opportunities and delivers real-time insights to develop and win new business.
“The new enhancements of Business Development Premier have been strategically developed to increase lawyer engagement with the solution by helping them improve their efficiency and benefit from greater overall ease of use,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice president of Product Management at Elite. “Now that Business Development Premier integrates with Enterprise and is accessible via iPhone, users gain full visibility into their clients’ internal time and billing activities and more insight into market intelligence for companies. As a result, they are able to uncover more business opportunities and have greater control over their marketing initiatives than ever before.”
New integration capabilities help Enterprise clients save time and improve efficiency with the ability to view and search their time and billing data directly within Business Development Premier 2015.1. Through the solution’s advanced configuration settings, Enterprise clients are also able to identify thresholds that must be met in order for time and billing information to be added to Business Development Premier entities, while also ensuring that no data is overwritten. Similar functionality for the 3E financial platform is forthcoming.
Previous versions of Business Development Premier have enabled clients to view company, contact, and marketing list data from the convenience of an iPad, and they can now view the automated client design via iPhone with Business Development Premier 2015.1. This expanded remote functionality enables clients to add contacts and activities, identify firm relationships, view corporate insight information from Thomson Reuters, and manage list membership while on the go.
The 15.1 Business Development Premier data engine can now sync information from Microsoft Exchange Online, an Office 365 component. Customers with Office 365 Exchange deployments can now automatically import accounts, contacts, colleagues and relationships into Business Development Premier and leverage firm and contact relationship scores to help with business development initiatives. Additionally, the new Business Development Premier Office 365 web app allows users to review contact-colleague relationships and corporate insight information while reading or composing emails and calendar appointments. This functionality currently has limited availability.
