New Workflow Platform Provides Firm-Wide Access to Technology Tools through Web and Mobile App
Los Angeles, June 10, 2014— Thomson Reuters Elite, a leading global provider of enterprise business management solutions, today announced the launch of Workspace, an innovative new integration platform that enables clients to access a range of Elite solutions and third-party products from both desktop and mobile devices and improve workplace efficiency. Workspace unlocks a new level of value for firms that use Elite’s enterprise business management solution by providing a single interface for users to perform routine tasks.
Workspace is driven by the Elite Integration Framework (EIF), which unifies operational data across the firm and provides access to both front- and back-office applications through a single view. Currently available to firms using 3E, MatterSphere, or both, Workspace will be compatible with other Elite business solutions in the near future.
“We are excited to introduce Workspace as a new way of unifying software solutions so firms can easily access the information they need to save time, reduce costs, and make better informed business decisions. Workplace is the future in how a firm will connect people, tasks, business processes, and information across the firm,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice president of Product Management for Thomson Reuters Elite. “As firms grow, they inevitably acquire a myriad of software products to help meet changing business demands and customer needs. The Elite Integration Framework unifies operational systems with a common architecture, so as firms add new applications in the future, implementation will be more time and cost effective.”
With the ability to see real-time client information from both front and back offices in a single view, Workspace empowers lawyers and professionals to streamline workflows, improve profitability, and make data-driven decisions. Firms can develop insightful key performance indicator (KPI) reports and data displays, as well as view client and matter information, including documents, entities, team information, and financials. By accessing Workspace via Elite Mobile, users can prepare for client conversations with up-to-the minute insights and enter time for billing, on-the-go.
Thomson Reuters Elite, part of the Legal business of Thomson Reuters, offers its end-to-end EBMS to allow law firms and professional services organizations to run all operational aspects of their firms, including business development, risk management, client and matter management, and financial management.
