Adoption Rate for ProLaw XII Accelerates as Number of Live Clients Triples
LOS ANGELES, Sep. 26, 2013 – Thomson Reuters Elite today announced that the number of ProLaw XII deployments has tripled since the beginning of the year to nearly 400 clients that are currently live on the solution. This rapid adoption of ProLaw XII has significantly exceeded expectations, which were announced in February.
Designed to help firms manage, run, and work smarter, ProLaw XII is built entirely on the Microsoft .NET platform. Users experience even more time-saving integration with the applications they work in every day, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, making it easy to manage, analyze, and share information across the business. Only ProLaw XII allows users to combine more relevant case, client, and financial information for the insight they need to run their businesses more effectively.
Phillips Law LLC, based in Seattle, is just one of the many firms that has benefitted from ProLaw XII’s advanced capabilities. “Since implementing ProLaw XII, our productivity and billable time have increased substantially,” said Krisztina Phillips, business manager at Phillips Law. “ProLaw makes it easy to capture every aspect of time spent on each activity—from initial phone calls to follow up emails. It has so many great features that in one year alone, we haven’t even begun to explore everything.”
Since its launch in May, ProLaw Mobile has made time entry and client and matter information accessible on-the-go. The secure, mobile accessibility enables users to quickly add notes to current matters, review matter information, and respond to client requests, without waiting to return to the office. More time and billing information is captured, as users enter, review, and edit hours straight from their iPad devices.
“At the beginning of the year, we anticipated that the number of clients live on ProLaw XII would double, so it thrills me to say that the those expectations have already been greatly exceeded,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice president of Product Management at Thomson Reuters Elite. “We have also seen a strong interest in ProLaw Mobile, and we foresee this new functionality continuing the upward momentum of ProLaw XII well into the future.”
Comprehensive features in ProLaw XII simplify, streamline, and coordinate the work of attorneys and staff in small and mid-size law firms, corporate legal departments, and government agencies. ProLaw and ProLaw XII are fully integrated with Westlaw Classic and new WestlawNext featuring WestSearch technology to streamline docketing and provide convenient legal research directly from the context of a matter. ProLaw Mobile provides remote access to time entry and client and matter information via the iPad. To view the latest ProLaw product demonstrations and webinars, visit ProLaw.
