Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP Transition from Enterprise to 3E from Thomson Reuters Elite

Firm Uses Mobile Capabilities to Streamline Time Entry

May 16, 2017

Thomson Reuters Elite, part of Thomson Reuters Legal, today announced that Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP has successfully transitioned from Enterprise® to 3E® in order to enhance its financial management capabilities. An integral element of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, 3E provides strong workflow and automation capabilities and a scalable foundation built to help firms manage every operational aspect of their business.

Employing 100 lawyers in its office in Wilmington, Delaware, the firm selected 3E after a competitive review process which saw Elite beat out close competition. Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP were impressed by the skill and professionalism of the Elite team—a large factor in the firm’s choice.

3E will now provide the firm with a long-term solution that is designed to meet the specific needs of the firm. Constantly developed and enhanced to meet the legal industry’s future needs, 3E will evolve with the firm, ensuring that the solution is proofed for the future. Furthermore, the firm will be using the mobile time entry capability to streamline time and guarantee access from wherever fee earners are in the world.

Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP will be completing its onboarding of 3E with the Express Service Package, which offers quick implementation of a highly standardized configuration within a condensed timeframe, facilitating the complete deployment of the solution in record time.

“Converting from the Enterprise platform, we took a lean approach to conversion that involved only our internal resources and Elite’s implementation team,” said Justin Cheseroni CPA, Director of Finance & Accounting at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP. “Both our teams remained flexible throughout the project, enabling us to switch gears mid-conversion and convert to the latest 3E release, Version 2.8.  In addition to the improved look and feel of the product, we are particularly excited about improving access to information across the Firm using role-based dashboards, and optimizing a number of key business processes using 3E’s embedded workflow capabilities.  The conversion was every bit as challenging as we expected, but ultimately the Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP and Elite teams came together to keep us on track. The Elite executive team, along with our sales director, lead applications consultant and conversion analyst were all particularly instrumental in making our project a success.”
