Thomson Elite Names Kim Massana Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing & International
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30, 2008 – Thomson Elite has named Kim Massana senior vice president, Strategic Marketing & International. Thomson Elite is part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC) and a worldwide provider of business software to professional services firms.
In his newly created role, Massana will lead Elite’s branding and pricing strategies, direct market research and segmentation activities, lead the international sales team and oversee all business development, marketing communications and the alliance partner program for Thomson Elite. In addition, Massana will provide corporate oversight and assistance for the International segment.

Massana previously served as director, sales and marketing, Sweet & Maxwell – a Thomson company headquartered in London – and was a key contributor to its overall strategic direction and development. Massana holds a business degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from ESADE in Barcelona, as well as a Master of Science degree in finance from the London School of Economics. He also completed the Executive Program at the Goizueta Business School in Atlanta.
