Thomson Elite Streamlines Electronic Billing with Elite eBillingHub
LOS ANGELES, December 5, 2007 – Electronic billing in the legal and professional services industries is often a complicated, time-consuming task for firms to manage. Today, Thomson Elite and eBillingHub® announced a solution to help firms meet the growing volume and demands of electronic billing. As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Thomson Elite will offer Elite® eBillingHub, a software solution developed by eBillingHub.
Under the terms of the agreement, Thomson Elite will sell eBillingHub’s product under a combined brand name. The companies also will work to enhance integration of the Elite® line of financial and practice management software with the eBillingHub® solution. The agreement also promises enhanced functionality and results for current Thomson Elite clients, who now will be able to quickly and easily convert from their existing electronic billing solutions to Elite eBillingHub.
The enhancement brings together the market reach and leadership of Thomson Elite, provider of the most widely used time and billing software among Am Law 100 firms, with eBillingHub’s focused expertise in legal electronic billing.

Elite eBillingHub allows users to prepare bill formats dynamically without technical assistance. The product also delivers bill verification and status and bill submission to multiple legal spend management systems. Elite eBillingHub integrates with all major third-party spend management systems, contains a quality set of reporting functions and currently handles approximately 400 bill templates.
With Elite eBillingHub, the e-billing process is optimized by integrating a law firm’s time and billing software with the firm’s clients and their e-billing vendors through a single Web portal. This simplification speeds up the collection process, reduces the complexity of submissions and eliminates billing backlogs and common submission errors.
