Foot Anstey Modernizes Operations with
Advanced Functionality of 3E, MatterSphere, and Engage

Large UK-based Firm Implements Three Elite Solutions to Improve Processes and Support Future Growth

Thomson Reuters Elite announced that Foot Anstey, one of the UK's largest firms based outside of London, has made the decision to implement the Enterprise Business Management Solution (EBMS) with 3E, MatterSphere, and Engage to accommodate the firm’s continued growth and development. The premier regional firm ultimately selected 3E and MatterSphere, while Engage was chosen to ensure compliance with the Jackson Reforms that recently went into effect within the UK legal industry.

Foot Anstey had recently invested in a document management solution (DMS) and contact relationship management (CRM) system, and needed to implement more compatible technology to optimize overall efficiency.

“We are thrilled to move forward with Elite to meet the many and varied needs critical to the future of our firm,” said Foot Anstey IT Director Duncan Eadie. “Together, 3E and MatterSphere met all of our outlined criteria for case and practice management, and we were really sold by the ability of Thomson Reuters Elite’s Workspace to deliver and aggregate information from both solutions to our mobile, Web, and office applications. Engage also minimizes the challenges posed by the Jackson Reforms, providing us with more accurate quoting to set precise budgets and maintain our profitability.”

Foot Anstey decided to leverage the advanced functionality of both 3E and MatterSphere to automate case and matter management at front- and back-ends. Real-time reporting and analysis in 3E help improve management of key performance indicators, while MatterSphere provides more centralized front office functionality and streamlines new business intake processes. Foot Anstey also anticipates improving its financial management with firm-wide budgeting, as well as matter budgeting with Engage. Additionally, Workspace will provide workflow across all products, consolidate information, combine tasks, and deliver mobility across product lines

“Foot Anstey’s decision to implement not one but three Elite solutions is a testament to our ability to provide significant value across an entire organization with our robust enterprise business management solution,” said Eric Sugden, chief technology officer of Thomson Reuters Elite. “Foot Anstey needed to implement more comprehensive functionality to gain long-term benefits from many different angles. I’m pleased that the powerful capabilities and deep levels of integration between 3E, MatterSphere, and Engage were able to stand out in a number of ways for Foot Anstey.”
