Reporting Essentials Finance Department Edition

Based on the review and needs of clients in the marketplace, Elite determined that there would be value in creating a reporting solution that can be used by specific individuals in the finance or accounting departments of firms. These individuals were looking for a tool that would allow them to query the current statistics of the firm and relay that information to managers within the organization. Furthermore, they needed a tool that could help them centrally manage the reports that were created on an ad hoc basis.

With these needs in mind, Elite created a Finance Department Edition (FDE) of Reporting Essentials software targeted to mid- to-large size firms that require reporting for their Finance and Accounting departments. FDE offers the full reporting capabilities of Reporting Essentials with a limited named user license of either 5 or 10 user options. This allows firms to purchase FDE at a lower cost but still provide the tools needed to meet their requirements. Clients can upgrade to the full Reporting Essentials or Reporting and Analytics Foundation if and when it is needed.

As with Reporting Essentials, FDE allows firms to make informed business decisions with quick access to current statistics on all aspects of the business including:

  • A path to upgrade to Reporting Essentials or Reporting and Analytics Foundation with the ability to distribute reports in the application to all end users

  • Provides summarized and integrated billing, accounts payable and time entry transaction information with matter and client information through standard reports
  • Allows the ability to embed accurate, dynamic data securely into documents, spreadsheets and presentations
