Allen & Overy LLP Now on ELITE 3E
The deployment of ELITE 3E by the international legal practice Allen & Overy LLP as the platform for its financial management system marks an important milestone for Elite, part of Thomson Reuters.
Allen & Overy is the largest international law firm to go into production on 3E to date. The firm has 31 offices in 22 countries and more than 5,000 employees.
3E enables Allen & Overy to handle its matter inception, billing and management reporting far more effectively and will ensure consistent processes and controls throughout the firm.
“We have replaced Elite Enterprise and nine other local systems with a state-of-the-art practice management system, which will support our entire global network and give us significant headroom for future growth,” said Wim Dejonghe, managing partner, Allen & Overy. “Importantly, it will also enable us to provide a much-improved service for clients, giving all our lawyers around the world instant access to the most up-to-date client information and billings.”

Allen & Overy’s preferred approach was to bring all of their offices live, simultaneously, which occurred on May 25. The success of this complex project was made possible through the focused efforts of a joint Allen & Overy and Elite project team, which used the extensive customization framework within 3E to adapt the software to the firm’s new optimized business processes.
