From The Desk of Steve BuegeThe results are in for the AmLaw 100 and 200 top law firms and it is with great pleasure that I announce that Elite has dominated the ratings with a large majority of firms being customers of Elite’s financial and practice management software solutions. In the 2009 results, Elite clients account for 64 percent of the Top 50, 70 percent of the Top 100 and 65 percent of the Top 200. This is more than double that of our closest competitor. Elite was also recently ranked the number one time and billing software solution in the AmLaw Tech Survey. This is an important accomplishment since we work diligently to ensure that Elite Enterprise and ELITE 3E continue to stand out as the leading software solutions in the legal industry. The UK/EMEA User Group Meeting was held on September 16, 2009 at The Law Society in London. This year’s event was a huge success with over 134 clients representing over 62 firms from all over the world in attendance. To help firms leverage their existing investments, there was a specific focus on implementing advanced features, which proved to be very successful. The event was complimentary and included 3E and Enterprise workshops, in-depth product discussions, as well as the opportunity to network with other Elite clients. We have posted a podcast we know you will enjoy and find very informative in this edition of Exchange magazine. Take a moment to watch the Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi Reporting & Analytics Foundation podcast. In addition, I am very pleased to announce the release of the ELITE 3E Premium Intelligence Suite which includes three new business intelligence products to meet the demand from law firms for advanced custom reporting, analytics and dashboarding. These new offerings provide strong dashboard visualization coupled with tiered access to increase business performance visibility for better decision making. In October, ProLaw will be offering a comprehensive and educational virtual conference. The conference will offer coverage of front office, back office and technical topics at all levels of expertise including beginner, intermediate and advanced. Participants will have a chance to attend special workshops for query, report and statement formatting and enjoy complimentary networking and knowledge sharing meetings. All the information you need to register for this event is available in this issue. On a final note, ELITE 3E implementations are continuously taking place all over the world with the most recent being Lewis Silkin and the Australian firm, M+K. These firms have joined the growing number of law firms who are choosing 3E for their financial and practice management systems to help support growth goals and significantly upgrade functionality. I hope you enjoy this issue of Exchange. Our clients and partners are invaluable to us and we at Elite wish to thank you for your continued support.
