Elite International User Group Meetings a Huge Success

International User Group Meeting

The Elite International User Group Meeting took place on November 26 at Holborn Bars in London. The event attracted record attendance with over 140 clients, partners and Elite staff participating. The bi-annual event was truly an international affair with clients from South Africa, France, Scotland, England and the Channel Islands in attendance. The event has continued to grow significantly from its beginning when just 10 London-based clients met around a table over a sandwich lunch.

The day began with an Enterprise Upgrade Workshop and 3E demo followed by the User Group meeting hosted by our newly-appointed Chairperson, Zoe Martin from CMS Cameron McKenna. The format for the day included four break-out sessions running concurrently throughout the day and covering 3E and Enterprise and also a Technical track. The day also included an Elite Q&A panel discussion with participating members Jitendra Valera, Patrick Hurley, Nadia Strobbia and Kay Betts. The evening ended with a festive winter party.

Asia Pacific User Group Meeting

The bi-annual Asia Pacific User Group (TREAPUG) Meeting was held in Brisbane on October 29–30. The event was hosted by Elite client and law firm McCullough Robertson. The local Elite team was in attendance at the event along with President and CEO Steve Buege.  About 50 delegates attended the meeting, representing almost all of Elite’s clients in Australia and New Zealand. Also in attendance were Elite’s newest clients, who were experiencing the user group for the first time.

Dan O’Day, Juan Martinez and Elite’s local services team presented interesting and informative sessions along with Billback, Timeframe Swerdlove and Minisoft, which also gave presentations. The sessions were generally vocal and collaborative, especially the open forum sessions on the future for Enterprise and the 3E implementations where customers had the opportunity to share their experiences and offer feedback. We’re looking forward to hearing the positive feedback at the next meeting, which is tentatively scheduled for late April, 2009.
