Elite Re-engineers Paperless Proforma in Version 4.0
Latest Version Will Change the Way Firms View Paperless Proformas
LOS ANGELES, Apr. 24, 2012 – Elite Paperless Proforma Version 4.0 is now available for professional services firms to transform the way they manage their pre-bill process. Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, has completely re-built this latest version of Paperless Proforma to deliver enhanced speed, an optimized user interface (UI) and new features that are driven by customer interaction.
The most noticeable enhancement is the streamlined, more modern UI that maximizes full screen real estate and provides improved navigation and handling for large proformas. The dynamic UI also offers more options for sorting, filtering and grouping among lists. Enhanced speed is driven by smarter data handling with a re-designed product framework and provides international billing support with Unicode and multi-currency capabilities.
Other new, and now standard, features include:
• Flexible Workflow Support – Based on standard Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF), all product actions are now configurable, including built-in mechanisms for approval processes and notification events, to allow you to tailor the solution to match the firm’s protocols.
• Bundled Engine for Print-Ready Output – Leveraging Elite’s advanced Design Gallery technology, users have highly flexible formatting options and the ability to output PDFs to desktop screens or send files to printers of their choice.
• True Collaboration – Like never before, Paperless Proforma enables controls to allow users to work in parallel or sequentially on matter edits, while retaining clear visibility and auditing of what has changed and by whom.
• User/Group Management – Product administrators, through the new ‘Admin’ UI, can now easily control access of both users and groups with rights definition at a granular level.
“Our clients have recognized that the traditional, paper-based method of processing proformas just simply doesn’t work well in today’s fast-paced and demanding environment,” said Dan O’Day, senior director of Operations, Elite. “We have completely re-built and re-architected our Paperless Proforma platform to be more effective for our clients.”
Paperless Proforma is an intuitive, browser-based pre-bill distribution and mark-up solution that directly integrates with Enterprise financial data. Timekeepers can review proformas without needing to transport confidential, printed documents, and the Web-based interface lets attorneys make changes online then send them back to accounting instantly. For billing staff, Paperless Proforma mirrors accepted proforma mark-up conventions, plus the ability to switch between timekeeper profiles without entering and exiting the system increases ease of use. Paperless Proforma reduces the chance of human error, speeds the pre-billing process, and gets invoices out the door faster.
