Elite Expands IntApp Partnership to Deliver Industry’s Most-Adopted Time Capture Software to Law Firms
LOS ANGELES, June 15, 2011 – Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, announced the expansion of its partnership with IntApp, a provider of time capture, confidentiality management and application integration software for law firms. As part of this deepened relationship, Elite will now offer IntApp Time Builder directly to its law firm customers. Elite clients who implement Time Builder will also be eligible to receive product adoption and performance analysis services delivered by IntApp, which has developed the industry’s only formalized methodology for maximizing law firm return on time capture technology investments.
IntApp Time Builder is a software product that enables law firms to increase revenue by capturing billable time that is missed or under-billed. It does this by providing lawyers with an accurate, consolidated daily report of their client and matter-related activity, generated by automatically monitoring the key applications they use throughout the day. Tracked systems include document creation, email, calendar, phone, and mobile devices.

Built to leverage IntApp’s proprietary IC3 technology, an intelligent cross-referencing, categorization and classification engine, Time Builder integrates information from a variety of firm business applications to automatically and accurately match lawyer activity with associated clients and matters. Daily activity reports are provided to lawyers in a timesheet format that also includes the exact duration of each task.
These intelligent information management capabilities set Time Builder apart from other time capture software tools, which rely on users to manually “train” software to assign specific activities with specific matters and to record task durations themselves.

The web and Outlook interfaces allow lawyers to group, detail and submit activities directly to Elite Enterprise and ELITE 3E practice and financial management solutions.
Using Time Builder allows lawyers to more easily record and enter their time, often finding lost or overlooked work. Additionally, by simplifying time tracking, Time Builder increases lawyer satisfaction while accelerating internal pre-bill review and external client collections processes.
