Elite Acquires Select Whitehill Technologies Legal Software Assets to Bolster Data Transformation Services

LOS ANGELES, June 1, 2011 –Elite has acquired select legal software assets from Oracle that were formerly known as Whitehill Technologies, a leading provider of billing review, workflow and automation solutions for the legal market. Since its founding as Whitehill Technologies over a decade ago, the line of products have been solely focused on serving the Elite customer base. Elite is the leading global provider of integrated financial and practice management systems and consulting services to the legal industry and other professional services markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With this acquisition, Whitehill Enterprise, previously branded as Elite Document Studio, and Whitehill Pre-Bill, previously branded as Elite Paperless Proforma, will be integrated into Elite’s suite of financial and practice management solutions. More than 700 legal and professional services firms use the products, which constitutes 72 percent of AMLaw 200 and 61 percent of Global 100 firms. The products acquired and the associated support, maintenance and consulting services will be managed by Elite’s Data Transformation Services team, along with Elite Design Gallery, which was acquired earlier this year from Kleinmundo.

Combined with our Kleinmundo acquisition earlier this year, we gain more control to build world-class solutions and services that meet the specific needs of the professional services industry.”

Document Studio, which will continue to be updated, provides report and data formatting solutions to Elite’s Enterprise customers and will be a complementary fit with Elite Design Gallery. Paperless Proforma is an electronic pre-billing program that allows end users to directly edit their bills online, eliminating time-consuming manual paper based editing.
