ELITE 3E 2.6 Offers Enhanced Features to Power Firm Productivity

Leader in Financial and Practice Management Continues to Deliver Highest, Most Secure Platform Performance

EAGAN, Minn., Jan. 31, 2011 – Professional services firms can now take advantage of the advanced capabilities of ELITE 3E Version 2.6.This latest version not only provides for greater stability in the overall platform, but also introduces new functionality that improves both business processes and individual staff workflow. Elite is part of the Business of Law unit of Thomson Reuters.

“To keep pace with emerging business practices and firm requirements, we expanded the scope of this release to include more enhanced functionality,” said Kim Massana, president of Elite. “We have seen evidence of a higher level of productivity throughout our beta testing. We are proud to offer 3E 2.6 as our most comprehensive upgrade since launching the next-generation platform.”

New modules within 3E Version 2.6 include:

• Calendar Management, which features two-way synchronization with Microsoft® Outlook and integration with the company’s newly developed Westlaw Legal Calendaring Rules.
• Time Capture 2.0, a new system written in Silverlight to substantially improve user experience.
• Enhanced billing features, including improved handling of doubtful and write-offs, multi-payor by layer for insurance clients, and new standard bill templates in Crystal.
• A new records workflow process that streamlines document management and Outlook integration.

The new business intake (NBI) process has leveraged client feedback and enhanced conflicts searches to include full NBI information on search results, redacted display of confidential information and improved workflow capabilities and history. The forms and reports have been reconfigured for more intuitive interaction with users and include full ethical wall and access control list (ACL) security on searches and results.

Finally, as part of Elite’s commitment to provide the highest, most secure performance, Version 2.6 supports SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008.
