Following is a representative listing of ProLaw Online Education course offerings.

Accounts Payable and Writing Checks
Learn how to enter and approve payables, print and void checks, track manual checks, setup recurring payments, and bill client advances. We will also review how to setup and enter vendors.

Administrative Preferences and Security
The focus of this course is to set up professional/user records, define system wide preferences, and system security for all users. See also Financial Preferences and Security and Practice Mgmt Preferences and Security.

Advanced Billing Functions
This course explores advanced billing features including mass transaction edits, transaction splits, split billing and flat fees. We will also cover accounts receivable in Ledger, reminder statements, unbilling and Ledger queries.

Bank Reconciliation
Teaches how to use ProLaw's bank reconciliation function including troubleshooting, reporting and setup of the automated reconciliation features.

Billing Basics
Learn how to print prebills, perform basic prebill edits such as Hold, Write Up/Down, narrative changes and how to produce draft and final bills.

Conflict Searching
Cover basic conflict searching in Contacts and Matters, generating conflict reports and using the advanced conflict voting feature.

Contacts
Teaches users how to manage contacts for Financial (clients, billing contacts and vendors) and Practice Mgmt (parties to the matter, related parties, marketing). Also how to setup relationships between contacts.

Custom Tab Design
Custom Tabs are customized screens you design. We'll cover setting up custom tabs including field type options, cascade fields, and how to avoid common mistakes. We'll provide design tips to help you customize ProLaw to suit your practice areas.

Database Administration
Learn how to administrate your ProLaw database after implementation including nightly database and document backups, full text indexing, new user training and more.

Docket Type Setup
This class addresses all the set-up options on events for calendaring, including creating event types, modifying existing events, creating trigger events, and sending events to GroupWise or Exchange/Outlook.

Document Assembly Setup
Covers everything you need to know about how to create a document template in ProLaw. Includes how to create document types, merge data from standard and custom fields, set up a directory structure, merging documents and finding documents.

Event Basics
This class covers basic docketing and document assembly, teaches basic event structure and how to select event types; provides a tour of the buttons on the events tab and discusses events reporting.

Financial Query Workshop
We'll cover the basics of designing Financial queries and explore advanced queries requiring multiple criteria.

Intermediate Report Writing
Covers more advance report techniques including the use of report band calculations (show only those records that meet certain criteria) and the construction of more complex calculations. There will be an opportunity for a limited number of report questions to be covered in class.

Introduction to Report Writing
Covers report customization basics. Report bands (sections), adding/deleting/moving fields, formatting changes and simple calculations.

Matters
Provides an orientation to Matters for the end-user, including searching, record view and basic information on the General and Notes tabs.

Practice Management Query Workshop
We'll cover the basics of designing Practice Mgmt queries and explore advanced queries requiring multiple criteria.

ProLaw Agent
Streamline your reporting by using the ProLaw Agent to automatically print and send reports via e-mail. Covers how to setup report shortcuts, build report queues and setup the ProLaw Agent to automatically run your queues. Also covers other ProLaw Agent functions such as automatically processing cost recovery imports, running external applications, isql scripts and full text indexing.

ProLaw Web Forum Setup and Use
Learn how to access, navigate and participate in the exchange of ideas and information with other ProLaw users via ProLaw's Web Forum.

Relationship Management
Covers the contact relationship management uses of ProLaw. Use Contacts to develop relationship management and marketing needs while using custom tabs, queries and reports.

Running Financials and Month End Reports
Provides instruction on how to run financials and other reconciliation or analysis reports at the end of each period as well as month end closing process.

Settlements
Learn how to track the status of a contingency case with ProLaw's Settlement tab. We’ll use the Settlement Worksheet to analyze the firm’s portions of a settlement offer by deducting costs before or after fees are calculated.

Time Entry
Learn how to enter and track billable and administrative time using the Find and Time Entry tabs in Transactions.
