Elite Teams Up With City National Bank to Deliver Integrated Treasury Management Solutions

Direct Connection with Elite Financial Management Systems Enables Clients to Initiate Financial Transactions through their own Accounting Software

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7, 2011 – Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, today announced an agreement with City National Bank to integrate the ELITE 3E and the Elite Enterprise practice and financial management systems for law firms and other professional services firms with the bank’s EASI Link system. With a direct connection to the general ledger (GL), EASI Link enables firms to initiate payments, retrieve statements and check images, and auto-reconcile transactions without separately accessing the bank’s online treasury management system.

“We are thrilled to team up with organizations like City National Bank that provide innovative technology to enhance the Elite experience and overall efficiency for our clients,” said Kim Massana, president of Elite.

City National Bank’s EASI Link is a patent-pending, full-featured treasury management solution that facilitates transactions directly from the GL module. With deep integration into the GL, firms are able to enter transactions into 3E and Enterprise, and they are submitted directly into EASI Link. Once the transactions have been processed, firms receive confirmation and the GL is automatically updated.

Benefits include increased operational efficiencies, reduction in manual errors and the ability to leverage the firm’s GL system as the source for banking activity.

“As City National continues to increase the benefits of EASI Link to our clients, working with Elite, a leading financial management systems provider, is an obvious choice,” said James Daley, executive vice president, Treasury Services Division from City National Bank. “Enabling our clients to initiate financial transactions through their own accounting software, where they are most comfortable, while automatically updating their bank account, means no double entry and mostly importantly, more time to devote to higher priorities.”
