3E Objectives allows firms to define goals or objectives that help them monitor and improve performance. Objectives can be created for matters, timekeepers and vendors and can be defined in hours, amounts or calculated values.

Multiple related objectives can be defined, stored and managed together as a single objective type. Objectives feature full multi-currency support and can easily be linked to or accessed within reports, metrics, inquiries and proformas. .

3E Metrics includes a predefined library of available metrics plus a built-in Metrics Designer that allows firms to define new metrics and the logic to populate them. Users can specify the currency, decide whether to use transaction dates and/or posting dates, define reporting periods, apply filters and schedule the metric to run automatically at defined intervals.

With these built-in capabilities, firms can monitor and manage performance directly from within 3E. Simply launch the Metrics Viewer to access powerful and intuitive data analysis capabilities. Dimensions can be applied to slice and dice information with drag and drop ease.

All calculations are cached for instantaneous information delivery. Multiple metric runs can be compared alongside one another to analyze changes from one period to the next. For added flexibility, users can export metrics data to an Excel workbook.

3E Reporting features a built-in Report Designer that allows firms to design custom layouts for reports and schedule report generation. Each report instance is a live object that can include links to supporting detail as well as buttons that allow users to take action or comment on results.

Reports are rendered to users in HTML, feature full multi-language and multi-currency support, and may only be accessed by users with appropriate security privileges.

3E also features a built-in document composition service which is a graphical tool for controlling report layout and formatting. Using this feature, attractive and professional looking reports can be printed, saved in a variety of document formats and distributed electronically.

3E Profitability allows firms to easily analyze the revenues and costs associated with any aspect of their business. This could include the firm as a whole or the profitability of individual clients, matters, timekeepers or groups of timekeepers working within particular offices, sections or practice groups in the firm.
